Abstract
It is pointed out that broadening of the Raman-active H-g-derived phon
ons in the fulleride superconductors is due to interband electron-phon
on interaction and that orientational disorder can render these phonon
s infrared active. The long-wavelength A(g) phonons are left completel
y unrenormalized by the electron-phonon interaction.
