We conducted a retrospective study among 31 young (age<40) years) Chin
ese patients with catheterization-documented coronary artery disease.
Male gender and smoking were the most important risk factors. Most of
them had a single or two-vessel coronary artery disease. Standard trea
tment strategies could be applied. The prognosis appeared to be excell
