Z. Benzo et al., ESTIMATION OF EXPERIMENTAL PARAMETERS FOR THE DETERMINATION OF RUTHENIUM BY FLAME ATOMIC-ABSORPTION SPECTROSCOPY, Chemometrics and intelligent laboratory systems, 40(1), 1998, pp. 109-117
The theory of design of experiments was applied to study some factors
which may influence the flame atomic absorption determination of ruthe
nium. The estimation of the magnitude of the main effects and some two
factor interactions on the sensitivity of ruthenium was studied in tw
o buffer solutions: cerium and lanthanum. The flame type, the presence
of iron, silicon and acid at some levels studied as well as some two
factor interactions have been found to have an important influence on
ruthenium sensitivity by this technique, depending on the buffer used.
