Abstract
The influence of different mixed solvents on the efficiency of sound e xcitation in electrolytes by means of an a.c. electric field is studie d experimentally. The ability of the solvent molecules to associate in structures and to solvatate the ions proves to be important for the e lectroacoustic mechanisms and their dynamical characteristics.
