The energy spectra as well as the electric quadrupole (E2) and the mag
netic dipole (M1) transitions in the oxygen isoelectronic sequence bet
ween the levels of the Is(2)2s(2)2p4, 1s(2)s2p5 and 1s(2)2p6 configura
tions were considered. The stationary second-order many-body perturbat
ion theory (MBPT) was used to account for electron correlations. The r
