Abstract
The spectrum of lead is observed in the 1250-600 angstrom wavelength r egion. Two hundred and thirteen lines belonging to the 5d(7)6s-5d(7)6p transition array have been classified. Twenty-six levels of the 38 th eoretically possible levels of the 5d(7)6s configuration have been est ablished. Nineteen new levels, most of which belong to the higher J-va lues in the 5d(7)6p configuration, have been determined. Two odd level s presented earlier have been rejected. The only missing level in the 5d8 ground configuration, S-1(0), has been established at a value of 7 9433.0 cm-1.
