Abstract
A discussion on methods which use UV or visible spectrophotometric dat a for the determination of stability constants is presented. Three dif ferent subjects are considered in detail: the sources of errors affect ing spectrophotometric measurements, the correlation between spectral and equilibrium parameters and then the decomposition of spectra in th e component peaks.
