Abstract
A general procedure for the description of power electronic circuit dy namics is proposed, with the intention of control system design and di screte-time system simulation. The approach is especially suited to be used along with computer-aided analysis and synthesis software packag es such as MATLAB. The various modelling steps are illustrated by an a pplication to a DC/DC converter under different control strategies.
