Abstract
A method for determining, in the Backscattering Geometry, the energy l oss and mean dechanneling distance of light ions is presented, The res ults of applying this method to crystals of Si, MgO and Al2O3 are disc ussed and possible improvements are indicated. (C) 1998 Elsevier Scien ce B.V.
