UBV OBSERVATIONS OF FG-SAGITTAE IN 1996-1997

We present the UBV observations of FG Sge performed on 55 nights in 19 96-1997 with three apertures: 27 '', 13 ''.5, and 10 ''. We measured t he star together with part of the surrounding planetary nebula He 1-5 through the smaller apertures and the sum of three components-star + c ompanion + nebula-through the large aperture. In 1996 the deepest mini mum of all the five minima that had occurred since 1992, when the star entered the R CrB phase, was observed.
