Abstract
In the uranoscope, sexes are separated. The sex ratio varies as a func tion of the size. Sexual maturity first appears when males are 110 mm in length (1 year old) and females are 140 mm in length (2 years old). Macroscopic observations of the gonads allowed to estimate the spawni ng period of the species. The emission of genital products generally o ccurs from May to August.
