Abstract
We investigate the polarization and electrical properties of additiona l light beams associated with the generation of the spatial subharmoni c K/2 of a fundamental photorefractive grating with vector It parallel to the [(1) over bar 10] axis when a sample of the crystal bismuth si licate doped with cadmium is simultaneously subjected to an external A C electric field and illuminated by light at a wavelength of 633 nm.
