Abstract
The paper is devoted to a progress in experimental study of Bragg FEM- oscillator with reversed guide magnetic field based on a linear induct ion accelerator (0.8 MeV/200 A/200 ns). In accordance with theoretical predictions single-frequency operation in a low-Q-factor resonator an d multi-frequency operation in a high-e-factor resonator were observed . Under optimal resonator configuration at the frequency 31 GHz single -mode generation with power 35 MW and efficiency 26% was obtained. (C) 1998 Elsevier Science B.V. All rights reserved.
