Ns. Osmanov et al., FURTHER DEVELOPMENT OF THE PULSED WIRE TECHNIQUE FOR MAGNETIC-FIELD AND FOCUSING STRENGTH MEASUREMENTS IN LONG UNDULATORS, Nuclear instruments & methods in physics research. Section A, Accelerators, spectrometers, detectors and associated equipment, 407(1-3), 1998, pp. 443-447
Improvements of pulsed wire method are made with the purpose to make i
t applicable for accurate held measurements in long undulators. It is
shown that the focusing strength of an undulator can be measured with
rather high accuracy for both transverse directions. A new approach fo
r solution of the sag problem is suggested enabling to resolve this pr
oblem. (C) 1998 Elsevier Science B.V. All rights reserved.
