Abstract
We study approximation of bounded variation functions by Bernstein-Bez ier Operators B-n((alpha)). By means of probabilistic methods, we get an estimate giving optimal rate of convergence, improving the result o f Fuhua Cheng [3] for Bernstein Operator B-n.
