Abstract
It is shown that the combined influence of the relaxation of viscosity and surface tension on the position of the boundary of the capillary wave spectrum established in a system is not a simple summation of eac h effect separately because of the nonlinearity of the dispersion equa tion in the corresponding physical parameters.
