Abstract
A new possibility for separate measurement of the imaginary and real p arts of the cubic optical susceptibility (and for measurement of its p hase) of isotropic resonant media is demonstrated theoretically. The t heoretical conclusions show good agreement with recent experimental da ta. (C) 1997 American Institute of Physics.
