Abstract
Detectors whose operating principle is based on recording the energy r eflection coefficient in a prism waveguide excitation system are propo sed for measuring physical quantities. The possibilities of maximizing the sensitivity of these devices is determined. An experimental inves tigation was made of a detector for the ammonia concentration in the a tmosphere.
