Abstract
The aim of this work is to introduce and analyze a new scheme for solv ing the transport equations in slab geometry. This scheme is in the sp irit based on the relaxation method for finite dimensional systems and use a splitting method for the transport operator, introduced in [1] and [2]. We then obtain an efficient algorithm for solving one dimensi onal transport equations. A numerical experiment is given.
