Abstract
ta(5)-trimethylsiloxytetramethylcyclopentadienyl)- and (eta(5)-2- trim ethylsiloxyindenyl)trichloro titanium have been synthesized and charac terized. Their catalytic behavior for the polymerization of styrene wa s studied in the presence of methylaluminoxane (MAO) as a cocatalyst. They show only low activity for styrene polymerization.
