Abstract
After reviewing past approaches towards measuring computer experience, the development and pilot test (N=279) of the Computer Understanding and Experience (CUE) Scale is described. Results suggest that the CUE Scale provides an internally consistent, self-report measure which may be subdivided into two related subscales.
