Abstract
Precipitated calcium carbonate (PCC) is a high value lime by-product t hat is used as filler in many applications. Lime plants are the best s ites for a PCC plant because all the process raw materials are readily available, but how to determine whether the investment is profitable? Cimprogetti introduces a safe and consistent method based on local ma rket surveys, laboratory experiments and laboratory process scale-up.
