Abstract
Single crystals of BiSr2CaCu2O8 have been grown by the top-seeded solu tion-growth (TSSG) method with Bi2.4Sr1.5Ca1.0Cu1.8Ox as the solvent. Crystals of approximately 10 phi X 6 mm in size and about 4 g weight w ere obtained. The susceptibility of crystals grown by the TSSG method has been measured.
