Abstract
The results of experimental and theoretical investigations of the infl uence of mechanical stresses on the phase transitions in polymer-polym er systems possessing lower and upper critical solution temperatures a nd featuring crystalline phase separation are summarized. The mechanis m of the effects of shear and tensile stress fields on the position of boundary curves (binodals, liquidus) is considered.
