Abstract
Four kinds of cycloalkanedione were prepared from bis-benzimidazole me thiodide salt and bis-Grignard reagent, the addition-hydrolysis reacti on of bis-benzimidazole methiodide salt with bis-Grignard reagent is r eported and a novel method for the preparation of various kinds of cyc loalkanedione is provided.
