Abstract
The extension of the Todd reaction to 1-hydrido-1-organyloxybicyclopho sphoranes 2-5 bearing a secondary amine group leads to a cyclic bis(bi cyclophosphoranes) 2d-5d as well as to a symmetric bicyclophosphoranes 6, 7, 8 in which the H-P atom has been substituted by the organyloxy group. These last compounds are a good synthons for the preparation of new bicyclophosphoranes containing macrocycles.
