Abstract
Total vapour pressures have been measured for binary mixtures of propa ne-2-one with 1-chloropentane (I), 1,3-dichloropropane (II), and 1,1,1 -trichloroethane (III), at 298.15, 303.15, 308.15 and 313.15 K, by a s tatic method. The data were reduced using Barker's method and differen t expressions for excess Gibbs energy were tested. The results evidenc ed positive (for (I) and (III) mixtures) and negative (for (II) mixtur e) deviations from ideality. (C) 1998 Elsevier Science B.V. All rights reserved.
