Lp. Deshmukh, ON THE PROPERTIES OF(CD, PB) S-SB SEMICONDUCTOR ELECTROLYTE SOLAR-CELLS/, Indian Journal of Pure & Applied Physics, 36(5), 1998, pp. 302-306
The (Cd, Pb)S:Sb electrode and sulphide/polysulphide electrolyte based
photoelectrochemical cells have been evaluated through the electrical
and optical properties. The range of Sb-doping concentration used was
from 0 to 10 mol% The I-V and C-V characteristics in dark, power outp
ut curves under 22.4 mW/cm(2) illumination and photo-response measurem
ents have been analysed with a special emphasis given to the antimony
doping concentration. It has been observed that the cell performance e
xamined in terms of the various performance parameters (I-ph, V-ph, R-
s, R-sh, ff%, n %, n(d), n(L), V-fb Phi(B) etc.) is optimum at 1 mol%
Sb-doping concentration in (Cd, Pb)S:Sb photo-electrode. These observa
tions have been correlated to the modified film properties.
