Abstract
Quadrupole couplings for bound states of Be-7 are included in describi ng the capture reaction Be-7(p,gamma)B-8. We verify, contrary to what we had initially stated (Nucl. Phys. A 615 (1997) 69), that the energy behaviour of the Astrophysical S-factor in the energy range of intere st is not significantly sensitive to the core couplings in the g.s. of B-8, although its overall magnitude is shifted.
