Abstract
The interaction of (Ph(2)P)NC(Ph)[N(SiMe(3))(2)] with 1 equivalent of
[RUCl(2)(PPh(3))(3)] in tetrahydrofuran save [RuCl2(PPh(3)){N(SiMe(3))
C(Ph)NH(PPh(2))}] whose structure established by X-ray crystallography
suggests the presence of a gamma-agostic interaction between rutheniu
m and one of the methyl groups of the N(SiMe(3)) imino group.
