Abstract
Laboratory experiments using radioactive tracer were performed to stud
y the uptake and elimination of Cs-137 by the Abudefduf saxatilis. A c
ompartmental model (AnaComp Program) has estimated the transfer rates
of the radioactivity through the sea-water and fish compartments as we
ll as the dose caused by the consumption of a contaminated fish.
