RESUSCITATION 2000 - THE NEED FOR IMPROVED DATABASES IN REGARD TO NEUROLOGICAL OUTCOMES

The Utstein protocol was developed to facilitate the collection of a c onsistent data base with which to evaluate the success or failure of r esuscitative efforts. We urge redrafting of the section on neurologica l outcomes which should be an essential component of all outcome studi es.
