Abstract
The determination of the influence of the reaction conditions on chemi cal modification yielding of polypropylene by a polar monomer (p-pheny len-bis maleamic acid) in melt by using a Box-Wilson experimental desi gn is the main goal of this article. The following 4 independent varia bles were considered to be mainly affecting the process, initial conce ntration of reactants (polar monomer and peroxide), gear rate, and rea ction time in a batch reactor.
