Abstract
This paper presents a general small-signal stability analysis of paral leled converter systems. The framework specializes to include both the ''democratic'' and ''master-slave'' current-sharing schemes, Design e xamples illustrate how to obtain stable current sharing, We show how p aralleled converters can become unstable (even when active current sha ring is absent) and discuss the influence of the number of converters paralleled.
