Abstract
Infrared optical properties of CdTe coatings deposited by PVD method w ere investigated by interference method. With the study of CdTe coatin gs deposited at different substrate temperature and of different thick ness, it was found that CdTe coatings are inhomogeneous, and the refra ctive index of CdTe coatings varies with the thickness of layer. It wa s also found that the substrate temperature between 120 degrees C and 200 degrees C almost has no effect on optical properties of CdTe coati ngs.
