Abstract
A method of image segmentation was presented which uses fuzzy rules co mbined with thresholding method. The conventional thresholding techniq ue is simple, fast and easily implemented while the fuzzy rules can co pe with those uncertain data, The fusion technique outperforms the ada ptive thresholding method.
