Abstract
In general, the dependence of the logarithm of the emissivity upon wav elength is usually used in the data processing measured by multi-wavel ength pyrometer. In this paper, a new method for automatically searchi ng the mathematical model between emissivity and wavelength was propos ed, The effects of measurement errors on the temperature and emissivit y were emphatically analysed when the above-mentioned method was used, The results of computer simulation match extremely well with the assu med data, The theory developed here has been shown to be an effective method to calculate both temperature and emissivity.
