Abstract
Frequency changes of plasma oscillations in the kHz range (pseudosonic waves) induced by resonant laser excitation of species in low-pressur e de discharges are used for detection of Ne-21 in pure Ne. The analyt ical capability and the limitations of this novel spectrochemical tech nique have been studied in noble gas discharges. (C) 1998 Elsevier Sci ence B.V.
