Abstract
Generally fats have a poor reputation. Most people view them as unheal thy and something to avoid. However things are never that simple. The long chain polyunsaturated fatty acids such as omega-3 are essential a nd beneficial for health. The omega-3 long chain polyunsaturated fatty acids (LCP) include eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA) and docosahexaenoic a cid (DHA).
