Abstract
A new genus and species of tiphiid wasp in the subfamily Tiphiinae, Me gatiphia fuscata, is described, and an illustrated key to the tiphiine genera of the Western Hemisphere is given, including: Tiphia, Paratip hia, Mallochia, Krombeinia, Neotiphia, Epimodiopteron and Megatiphia.
