Abstract
The framework is built up from InTe4 tetrahedra and KTe8 square antipr isms. The InTe4 tetrahedra share orthogonal edges to form infinite cha ins along the c axis. These parallel tetrahedral chains are interconne cted via edge-sharing KTe8 square antiprisms.
