Abstract
Thoracoscopy provides diagnosis of pleural diseases with a high degree
of accuracy. Moreover, this procedure allows a careful pleural stagin
g of the disease, in particular for pleural cancer, which is important
for the prognosis and therapeutic decision. This article fetuses on t
he technique, indications, and results of medical thoracoscopy.
