Abstract
The development of debris environment analysis tools and correlation o f space weather with satellite anomalies have progressed nearly indepe ndently during the space age. This paper applies a methodology to merg e these two fields to provide greater insights into the operation of s atellites in the dynamic space environment. The objective of this anal ysis is to corroborate the impact of debris on spacecraft while identi fying the cause of previously ''unknown'' anomalies. This approach is used to reduce a select anomalies database and make conclusions about the cause of many previously unknown anomalies. A new concept is propo sed that collates multiple anomalies data bases into a Universal Satel lite Anomalies Analysis Advisor (USA(3)). (C) 1998 Published by Elsevi er Science Ltd.
