Abstract
Using the Hopf theorem and the algorithm developed in [1] we prove tha t while loosing asymptotic stability, a hydraulic copying system still works at a stable limit cycle. We compute the value of the underlap o f the valve for this to happen and remark that it is in the range of t urbulent oil flow. (C) 1998 Elsevier Science S.A.
