Abstract
Phase equilibrium data of the present authors for the CaO-Pb-O and PbO -CaO-SiO2 system in air, combined with phase equilibrium and thermodyn amic data from the literature, were optimised to obtain a self-consist ent set of parameters of thermodynamic models for all phases. The modi fied quasichemical model was used for the liquid slag phase. From thes e model parameters, the optimised ternary phase diagram was back calcu lated.
