Abstract
Analysis of gut contents of the thin-lipped grey mullet (Liza ramada)i n Lake Kinneret over a 4-year period (1986-1989) indicates that this f ish is an omnivorous benthivore which feeds mainly in the littoral zon e. The most important food for L. ramada is the organic material prese nt in the sand and mud. L. ramada also fed upon Cladocera, Copepoda an d diatoms. A calanoid copepod, Eudiaptomus sp., was also found among t he food organisms.
