The heat capacity of the intermetallic compound CoTi has been measured
through the temperature range 120 to 700 K by differential scanning c
alorimetry. The data of the heat capacity are fined with the method of
least squares and have been extrapolated for the temperature range fr
om 0 to 1800 K. The enthalpy, the entropy and the Gibbs free energy ha
ve been calculated for this temperature range. The confidence limits o
f the heat capacity as well as of the other thermodynamic functions ar
e given for a probability of 95 %. The Debye temperature has been dete
rmined to 386.9 K.
