Abstract
Resampling methods are introduced for the construction of confidence i ntervals for treatment effects associated with the primary and seconda ry endpoints of a clinical trial whose stopping rule is specified by a group sequential test. These methods are nonparametric and compare fa vourably with the exact methods that assume the responses to be normal ly distributed.
