Using the formula of thermo-electric power for the local pair model, b
ased on the two-component model of high-T-c superconductivity, we stud
y the experiments of thermoelectric power of several kinds of high-T-c
oxide superconductors and find that this model can give a general exp
lanation of the thermo-electric power phenomena of high-T-c oxide supe
rconductors. According to the study of thermo-electric power of HgBa2C
uO4+delta and HgBa2CaCu2O6+delta, we consider that the physical proper
ties of underdoped and optimum doped samples are analogous, which are
different from overdoped samples. The property of overdoped samples ap
proaches to that of the conventional metal.
