Abstract
Recent advances in the understanding of the molecular pathogenesis of cancer herald breakthroughs in the treatment of this collection of dis eases, which are still usually incurable in advanced stages. In partic ular, there is a high expectation of gene and immunogene therapy. A re cent meeting surveyed new progress in this area.
